Museum and Birthplace Home of Miguel Servet (1511-1553)

Place of birth of the eminent Aragonese Doctor. This theologian, scientist, philosopher, geographer, astronomer and astrologer, discovered the pulmonary circulation system, was condemned for heresy and burned along with his books in 1553. His birthplace is presented by way of a XVI century mansion, considered of cultural interest. Restored in its entirety it was opened by the Prince of Asturias in 2002. It currently acts as the Instituto de Estudios Sijenenses (Sijenenses Institute of Studies), in addition to a complete exhibition center of the life and work of Miguel Servet.
